(VERSE 1)
(FEMALE PART)
I wasn’t looking for a friendship
was only wanting a little fun
but every time I’de hit send
he’d respond to everyone
he told me about his family
and all the love lost in his life
I told him not to worry
someday he’d find the perfect wife
I told him about all my failed plans
and all the things that make me cry
his advice came instantly
cause he’d always hit reply
(CHORUS)
(FEMALE VOICE)
He know’s how much I love chocolate
He know’s how much I love to dance
He know’s I love to slow-sip Champagne
He know’s I never take a chance
He listens to all my secrets,
and he tells me that’s ok
He never judges me for my faults
and he never walks away
You see we’ve never met each other
yet we talk ten times a day
I wonder if he knows how much I love him
because that’s never on display
(CHORUS)
(MALE VOICE)
She doesn’t mind my rowdy ways
She always compliments my written lines
She always knows just what to say
I see her everyday online…
wishing she were only mine
She never judges me for my faults
and she never walks away
You see we’ve never met each other
yet we talk ten times a day
I wonder if she knows how much I love her
She’d never believe me anyway…
(VERSE 2)
(MALE VOICE)
Who am I to find love anyway
it’s probably another illusion
but when I talk to her online
She erases my delusion
We talk and write and talk and write
the hours fade away
There’s no doubt in my mind
She’s the closest to an angel
I’ve ever seen
so how in the world do I tell her…
I found love on a computer screen
(CHORUS)
(FEMALE VOICE)
He know’s how much I love chocolate
He know’s how much I love to dance
He know’s I love to slow-sip Champagne
He know’s I never take a chance
He listens to all my secrets,
and he tells me that’s ok
He never judges me for my faults
and he never walks away
You see we’ve never met each other
yet we talk ten times a day
I wonder if he knows how much I love him
because that’s never on display
(CHORUS)
(MALE VOICE)
She doesn’t mind my rowdy ways
She always compliments my written lines
She always knows just what to say
I see her everyday online
wishing she were only mine
She never judges me for my faults
and she never walks away
You see we’ve never met each other
yet we talk ten times a day
I wonder if she knows how much I love her
She’d never believe me anyway…
…been practicing what to say
…Praying she felt the same way
The thought of it makes my knees go weak…
(FEMALE & MALE VOICE)
Do I have the nerve to speak…
(FEMALE & MALE VOICE)
You know me better than almost anyone
Do you know what I feel?
so much of me belongs to you now
I want to make this real
meet me in the park at noon
bring ten friends if you need
just tell me that you’re ready
I want to hold you
I concede
I’ve loved you my whole life
just didn’t know where you were
let’s take this happiness now
tell me you concur!
I’m not afraid to say
my feelings for you run deep
I hope you feel the way that I do
to take this chance, to take a leap
he’s (she’s) the closet to an angel
I’ve ever seen
so how I do I tell him (her)
I’ve found love on a computer screen,
my love is on this screen
Meet me in the park at noon?

Song Lyrics about Child Abuse: This was the second song we wrote together. Our last song was a light topic, fun in nature, so this time we decided to tackle a sad, serious and unfortunately all too real subject - child abuse. If we could keep all the children safe and warm, I know most of us would do so in a heartbeat. On a side note, this is not based on a true story or from any or our own personal perspective’s, and the character “Lorrie”, is fictitious for this song.
GOD’S PRINCESS
(VERSE 1)
A pattern of leaves cover the sidewalk
Which is layered in scribbled chalk
A lonely bicycle lies quietly in the yard
Looking at that place can be quite hard
We’ve all heard the terrible sad stories
But how come no-one heard little Lorrie
(CHORUS)
She cries tears in her darkened room
cuddled up with her teddy bear
does anyone even know she’s there
starring in her own nightmare,
It can’t be right to be scared like this
So she pretends she’s God’s Princess
held in his arms safe for the night
with his love,
at peace
she’s tucked in tight,
(VERSE 2)
In the living room, a family portrait
The air it hangs heavy, pain and hurt
On the wall, a childs praying hands
Can’t beleive no one made a stand
A neighborhood of tightly shut eyes
In the dead of night, you still hear cries
(CHORUS)
She cries tears in her darkened room
cuddled up with her teddy bear
does anyone even know she’s there
starring in her own nightmare,
It can’t be right to be scared like this
So she pretends she’s God’s Princess
held in his arms safe for the night
with his love,
at peace
she’s tucked in tight
(BRIDGE/VERSE to FINAL CHORUS)
A childhood stolen, entirely missed
what will happen to God’s Princess
will she go home before she’s grown
or be saved from being alone…
by living angels who wipe her tears
as she cries in her darkened room
someone to be there
to erase her fears
rescuing her from this nightmare…
….but today she still cries,
and it’s not right to be scared like this
So she pretends she’s God’s Princess
held in his arms safe for the night
with his love and at peace
for one minute she’s alright,
until daylight…
will she go home before she’s grown
or be saved from being alone,

Relationship Song Lyrics: Do You Know What This Means? “A Song by Elvis Proctor and Barbara Tremblay Cipak”: Another collaboration of work - A song about dreams, love, relationship and support.
(VERSE 1)
Living in your world
I’ve tried,
But its not me
I can’t survive in this
empty re-run lie
I used to make you
laugh and smile
Now I make you
breakdown and cry
I can’t give up one
dream for another
Why can’t I have
Everything that keeps
me going on
instead I’m empty inside
Content?
It’s been so long…
Do You know What This Means?
(CHORUS)
It means everything
I tried to park my ass in a chair
and go no where
I tried to work 9 to 5
to stay alive
but I died inside
I lie to myself
I lie to you
what I need
to be,
all I am,
isn’t flipping burgers
or selling cars
or VP of some conglomerate
I want to make you cry
I want to make you laugh
I want to make you wish
you had that
I want to make you tell me
the same things happened to you
in song, a word, a thought a dream,
but standing still I bleed
becoming your statue isn’t what I need
this road it hurts
you know I’m swimming upstream!
instead of pushing my head under
instead of killing my dream
help me find my way
do you know what this means?
(VERSE 2)
You look down when
I tell you my vision
My personal freedom
is your inner prison
Don’t you ever open
your eyes and see
I can’t change what
I am meant to be
How can you cope
in blank nothingness
Because I feel trapped
held down like this
(BRIDGE TO FINAL CHORUS)
You know what this means!
for me to get somewhere
I have to hold on
so I’ll burn the damn chair
and yes! I need you there!
no more lies to you
no more lies to myself
I can’t be your statue
you know what I need
this road our journey
move over, I’ll lead
trust that I know what needs to be done
you know I’m swimming upstream!
instead of pushing my head under
instead of killing my dream
help me find my way
you’re smart
you know what this means
you know what this means
you know what this means
for us,

And, hey, thanks for listening to….
Kiss My Assets!
(VERSE 1)
Just to think last night you laughed at me
Said poor white trash is all I would ever be
You wouldn’t waste your so precious time
I’m on a dead-end road,you can see the signs
You say you’re busy when I call your phone
Even had your brother tell me to leave it alone
You wouldn’t believe how I was so depressed
I spent my last dollar at the convenient express
I was wondering since I haven’t been around
Could you hear me laughing,on your side of town
(CHORUS)
3, 15, 27, 6, 19, 11
Missed my invite to your party
and apparently you think I can’t dance
“hit the road buddy”
think that’s what you said?
“you’ve two left feet,
no brain in that head”
think ya even wished me dead?
3, 15, 27, 6, 19, 11
my ticket “a done come’in”
shoulda heard that terminal sing…
bought the Dance Hall, the Flower Shop,
and Alvin’s Funeral Home,
sent you an invite to my
“If I were Dead Party”…
just planning ahead is all,
‘case I slip and fall…or some’in
thought you could help me
pick out my casket
so come on over, it’s all good,
too tired to help?
then just Kiss My Assets!
(VERSE 2)
You wouldn’t give me the time of day
Now you hang on every word I say
Every girl on my block wouldn’t speak
Now I get flowers every day of the week
No-one would give me a ride in their car
Now I have a limo, “hot damn I’m a star!”
You want to know if You can hang out too
Well its funny, I don’t have any time for you
(BRIDGE TO FINAL CHORUS)
but wait! let me check my schedule
maybe I can fit you in,
I can see you at 3:15 in 2027
or 6:19 in 2011
I’ve hit the road
gone searching for brains
so forgive me, I’m a little booked up
busy hosting “if I were dead parties” and such
just planning ahead is all,
‘case I slip and fall…or some’in
are ya having any regrets yet?
well just buckle up and pucker up
cause honey
you can Kiss My Assets!
