I Love You (Song Lyrics)

Love is getting better
Life is getting easier
You’re my reason
It’s you
My hope
It’s you

Lifted to the light
I shine
Uplifted I’m not the same
With you in my heart
I sing
I sing
I sing
In your name

Love is getting easier
Life is getting better
You’re the reason
It’s you
It’s you
It’s you
I sing in your name

Surrounded by beauty
My life shines, it shines so bright,
Shines with hope
That others feel the same
That others live to love
To sing in their name
To hold onto the best of life
And let the rest fade
It’s love
It’s love
It’s love
..and that’s why I sing in your name

I sing in your name for all to hear
I hold you close
When I love…
I Love You
I Love You
I Love You
And this life….

The Child We’ve Never Met

(Verse 1)

I’ve cried myself to sleep at night

wonderin’ if it’ll ever happen

the doctors say we’re healthy,

we’re Ok,

but we’re empty,

we wanna baby

It’s been six years of trying

sharing the birth of all our friends kids

and they know we’re really happy for them,

yes they do,

But we’re still empty

we wanna baby

(Chorus)

How can I love a child

whom I’ve never met

How can I grieve

for what God

hasn’t graced us with just yet

How come it hurts

everytime I take a breath

and How do I rest

waiting for this someone I can never forget

Please tell me

I wanna baby

(VERSE 2)

They’re praying for us,

and we know it, we can feel their wishes

washing over us,

we know only we can understand

this pain of empty

we’re holdin’ in our hands

but we still feel them lovin’

our unborn baby

We don’t expect miracles in abundance

nor do we feel they should be bestowed on us

but by the grace of God

we pray it can happen

we wanna meet this child

who fills our heart with hope

we wanna meet the face

of why we still cope

with this dream

that we may never ever touch

so we keep praying

for our baby

(BRIDGE)

I hear my tears

and my husbands too

I know his fears

are of what we’re going to do

if we aren’t graced with this child

we love so much

so I begin each day being grateful

grateful, for my loving husbands touch

and we keep praying

for the child we’ve never met

and we never let go

of what God hasn’t graced us with yet

and although it hurts

everytime we take a breath

we lay our heads and try to take a rest

from this someone who we can never forget

our baby,

our miracle baby,

Hope Is A Place

Lyrics about Hope: “Hope is a Place” is a song about giving our most precious gift, our time. We’re all so busy, me included, and I feel bad at times that I don’t give more of my time..but then I remember that we parents give our time to raising our children, “the next generation”, and that’s something. But I still feel I could give more.

Hope is a Place

Did you wake up one day with living on your mind
Thought you had been living all this time
Your family, your friends you really love them,
True.
Yet that’s not all the livin’ there’s left to do

(Chorus)
To make a difference
To change this world
To love when love cannot be returned
To know that some live on a dime
To give our most precious gift
Our time
To teach our children compassionate grace
And let them know hope is a place

(Verse two)
Who’s helping who when we give of ourself
Who of us wished the cards we were dealt
Behind the human struggle lives a smile
it’s by giving we forget our own struggle for a while

(Chorus)
To make a difference
To change this world
To love when love cannot be returned
To know that some live on a dime
To give our most precious gift
Our time
To teach our children compassionate grace
And let them know hope is a place

(Verse Three)
Will there always be tears and hungry souls
We don’t know how this world will go
The seed of Time seems impossible to grow
Can we plant one today to reap what we sow

(Chorus)
…Take my hand
Lets sow a smile, lets sow a hug,
Lets sow a world for our children to love
To make a difference
To change this world
To love when love cannot be returned
To know that some live on a dime
To give our most precious gift
Our time
To teach our children compassionate grace
And let them know hope is a place…
Hope is a place…compassionate grace…
Lets hope…Hope Is A Place
