A Powerful Message in a Country Song About Love and Life

Get Ready to Be Moved by a Country Song About Love and Life and Our Connection to Each Other and the Earth – Dirt, by Florida Georgia Line

If you’re looking for a way to connect to what’s most important in life, listen to ‘Dirt’ by Florida Georgia Line. The genuine reflective gentleness in both the video and lyrics will send shivers down your spine. In my personal opinion, Dirt ranks as one of the best life story country song messages depicted in the video. Your heart won’t escape without filling up with what ultimately matters most in a person’s life – Love.

(Lyrics) You know you came from it, and someday you’ll return to it…Dirt

The video story begins with a loving elderly husband, surrounded by his family, giving a reflective eulogy for his wife Rosie on their property, where the love of his life is being laid to rest. Standing there, hat in hand, talking to his Rosie, he expresses his love in life’s markers; ‘Rosie and I had five children, one died at birth, tough times, tough years, but we did O.K.’

Throughout the video, you feel their passion for life as a young, good-looking couple starting life on the land that tasted their youthful spirit and secured their love for it. They’re planting roots in it.

Living Art – A Full Life Lived, Visible in Every Earned Line on a Face

At the end of life, an older person’s memories surround them in photos, family, and contribution, but the art of life can mostly be found in the lines of a curved smile and the crinkled expressions of knowing eyes.

They’ve lived a long time, longer than we have, and they’re nearing the end of all they’ve shared of themselves with us and the earth. Just a couple who not that long ago were rolling together in the fields, planning their future, holding their first child, raising an expanding

family, living and loving each other through all of it.

(VIDEO EULOGY LYRICS) ROSIE WAS RIGHT ABOUT 2 THINGS, YOU DON’T HAVE TO SEE THE WORLD TO BE WORLDLY, THE WORLD WILL COME RIGHT TO YOUR WINDOW…AND I BUILT THAT BASEBALL DIAMOND WAY TOO CLOSE TO THE KITCHEN’

Death is the only untouched experience we all share

Youth is a human beginning, but the end of life is a soul’s beginning. Unfortunately, this doesn’t make it any easier for those of us left behind sobbing tears of goodbye.

We’re used to being able to explain every aspect of living a human life, but when death visits our loved ones, none of us have the answer. There are multiple belief systems, recorded near-death experiences, and countless life-after-death and reincarnation YouTube videos. Still, we won’t know what it’s all about until it’s our time. No one gets out alive.

So, in the end, it’s this life we’re currently living that matters most. Living an entire life on this dirt, all we do on it.

A life story expressed in a country song, the road traveled by Rosie. You know you came from it, and someday you’ll return to it.
