Have you heard the country song, I Pray for You by Jaron Lowenstein? Well it’s not what you think! The song is a riot!
Yes, it’s a country song about being mad at your Ex.
Actually, people generally fall into two categories after hearing the song; offended or entertained. I have to admit, the first time I heard it, I was in my car..it was a nice sunny peaceful day and my youngest son and I were on a pleasant 4 hour road trip to spend the weekend with my parents. All of a sudden this song came on the radio, and the music in the beginning sounded very ‘church like’, however, the words pulled a 360!
I really don’t want to give the tune away by discussing the lyrics too much before you hear it. You can watch the video featured below. It certainly has a few fans, with over ten million views. The comments on the video give you a very good picture of the public’s reaction. Certainly you would only choose this song as a joke, or a way of finding humor in an otherwise humorless situation. For someone who had a very bad experience in a relationship, a friend could bring a smile to their face by playing this for them!
