A MILLION LIFETIMES (Lyrics)
[Verse 1]
Has it been one hundred lifetimes,
or a million more,
I love you beyond my life
I’m sure we’ve been together before
A life without each other
would make it too hard for me to breathe
So every life we have shared
must have been impossible to leave,
but were together again
feeling hopeful we’re complete,
only a million lifetimes can make sense
for a love this deep
[Chorus]
I know the truth you tell
behind the expressions on your face
I see the doubts you try to hide
and those nuances in your gaze
we speak without a single sound
in silence we agree
it’s truly something magical
how you’re the world to me
we are a thousand little fragments
two souls just meant to be
[Verse 2]
Some say love is random
Two sparks igniting something new
But I feel it’s been a million times
that I’ve shared a life with you
We’re like a favorite movie
getting watched over and over again
I’m convinced we’re more than lovers
we’re also the best of friends
we’re our favorite story
that we now begin again
[Chorus]
I know the truth you tell
behind the expressions on your face
I see the doubts you try to hide
and those nuances in your gaze
we speak without a single sound
in silence we agree
it’s truly something magical
how you’re the world to me
we are a thousand little fragments
two souls just meant to be
[Bridge]
The sparks that fly with you
ignite when you look at me,
Just your walking in the room
makes it hard for me to breathe
but in those deepest moments
I find the ground beneath my feet,
just holding you inside my arms
tells me you’re the home for me
[Chorus Outro]
Has it been one hundred lifetimes,
or a million more,
eternally I’ve loved you
we must have done this all before
Eternally I will love you
I know we’ve done this all before

THE STORY BEHIND THE LYRICS
STORY BEHIND THE LYRICS:
I wrote and produced this song on June 9, 2026. Love songs have never come as naturally to me as some other themes, but I wanted to create a meaningful wedding first-dance song for the Drageda Lyrics wedding collection. Rather than writing a traditional love song, I searched for a concept that felt fresh and memorable—something that could tell a story while reflecting the depth of connection many couples feel on their wedding day.
The inspiration came from a simple question. What if two souls were meant to find each other over and over again? What if the love they experience in this life is only one chapter in a much larger story that has unfolded across countless lifetimes?
That idea became the heart of A Million Lifetimes. The lyrics explore the feeling that some relationships seem too familiar and too deeply rooted to be explained by a single lifetime alone. Lyrics such as “Has it been a hundred lifetimes or a million more? I love you beyond my life, I’m sure we’ve been together before” express the belief that certain souls share a bond that continues beyond time itself.
As the song unfolds, it suggests that every life lived together leaves an imprint, a lingering trace that cannot be completely forgotten. Those echoes of love continue to draw the two souls back to one another again and again. At its core, A Million Lifetimes is a song about enduring love, soul-level connection, and the idea that no matter how many lifetimes pass, some hearts are destined to reunite.
